Recruitment of Evaluators for the Mini-Projects (Open Science II)
Recruitment of experts to act as evaluators of mini-projects is currently open within the Open Science II project. Applications can be submitted via the online registration form available here.
A prerequisite for participation is prior experience in the field of Open Science, as well as the absence of any conflict of interest. In particular, reviewers must:
- not be members of the research team of any mini-project submitted under the 1st call;
- not have any relationship with members of such research teams that could compromise their independence;
- not be aware of any other circumstances that could affect their impartiality (see Methodology for Evaluators).
Evaluating work will be financially compensated under a work agreement (DPP) at a rate of CZK 550 per hour. The remuneration covers preparation for the meeting (up to a maximum of 4 hours) and participation in the evaluation committee meeting, where each commenced hour is reimbursed.
The evaluation process consists of two stages. First, evaluators will be given access to the submitted project applications following the appointment of evaluation committees (expected in early May 2026). This will be followed by a meeting of the relevant evaluation committee, during which individual proposals will be discussed and scored according to predefined criteria, and a final ranking of projects will be prepared.
Committee meetings will take place between May 18 and June 1, 2026. The exact date will be specified at a later stage, following the appointment of committee members. The primary format will be an online meeting; however, in-person or hybrid formats may be arranged upon agreement.
All project documentation, including the Methodology for Evaluators and the evaluation criteria, is available here.
