Training for Institutes of the CAS – FAIR Wizard

We offer two types of training based on user roles within the FAIR Wizard:

  1. Training for Researchers
    • Suitable for beginners in this tool.
    • Interested in learning how to use the FAIR Wizard to create your DMP? Let’s go hands on together to create a DMP in this tool for your GACR project in the default role of Researcher.
    • Training duration: max. 3h

  1. Training for Data Stewards
    • Training suitable for advanced users of FAIR Wizard with the Data Steward role extension.
    • Do you have a Data Steward role or are you about to have one in FAIR Wizard? We will demonstrate hands-on creation of new Knowledge Models, creating a project template, managing and creating User Groups.
    • Training duration: max. 3h

Where and how is the training conducted?

  • Training sessions can be held in person at the Library of CAS at Národní 1009/3, 110 00 Prague 1, with a capacity of up to 10 participants, or we can arrange it at your institute for larger groups of up to 30 participants.
  • If an in-person session isn’t convenient for you, we can arrange online training as well.

You can register for the training here.

Past seminars

Support for Open Science at the Library of the CAS

In June 2024, we held an online seminar Support for Open Science at the Library of the CAS, introducing the services of the Department of Open Science, Open Access publishing, the institutional repository ASEP, and creating DMPs using the FAIR Wizard tool.

The recording of the seminar and presentation slides are available here (only in Czech).

AV ČR FAIR Wizard Training

In September 2023, we held an online seminar AV ČR FAIR Wizard Researcher Training, that demonstrated the creation of DMPs in this tool in detail.
