RDA’s 22nd Plenary Meeting will be held fully virtually!
RDA has announced that the next Research Data Alliance’s 22nd Plenary Meeting (VP22) is now confirmed and will be held fully virtually!
Organised by the RDA Secretariat, VP22 will be held for half-days spread across two weeks, between 14-23 May 2024. All global time zones in the breakout sessions overview have been considered and accommodated for attendees’ convenience. VP22 will be delivered via Whova [hu:va] event platform.
With the theme “Local Action – Global Connection”, which also aligns with the four pillars of RDA’s Strategic Plan, the plenary will focus on collaboration and engagement with our global community through the sharing of local experiences, best practices and recommendations.
Over the course of two weeks, RDA Working and Interest Groups, Communities of Practice and Birds of a Feather sessions will address the most significant challenges that data leaders face today, presenting ongoing research that are building the fundamentals for data science.
Research Data Alliance (RDA) is a community-driven initiative with the vision that researchers and innovators can openly share and re-use data across technologies, disciplines, and countries to address the grand challenges of society.
The RDA’s mission is to build the social and technical bridges that enable that vision, accomplished through the creation, adoption and use of the social, organisational, and technical infrastructure needed to reduce barriers to data sharing and exchange. Scientists & researchers join forces with technical experts in focused Working Groups, exploratory Interest Groups and Communities of Practice. Individual membership is free and open to all.
