OP JAK – aknowledgement for publishers

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MŠMT), through the managing authority of the program, has published Open Science Policy, which beneficiaries can reference when communicating with publishers. The Open Science Policy within the OP JAK program is now also searchable through the Open Policy Finder tool.

Furthermore, the managing authority recommends that authors of peer-reviewed publications include the following (or similar) text when submitting manuscripts for publication:

“This work has been funded by a grant from the Programme Johannes Amos Comenius under the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic [project number]. As set out in the Legal Act, beneficiaries must ensure that the open access to the published version or the final peer-reviewed manuscript accepted for publication is provided immediately after the date of publication via a trusted repository under the latest available version of the Creative Commons Attribution International Public Licence (CC BY) or a licence with equivalent rights. For long-text formats, CC BY-NC, CC BY-ND, CC BY-NC-ND or equivalent licenses could be applied.”
