The Institute of Archaeology of the CAS in Prague is looking for a candidate for the position of Data Steward in the framework of the research project “Zdivočelá země: archeologický a transdisciplinární výzkum resilienčních strategií ve 20. století” supported in the call “Společenské a humanitní vědy: člověk a lidstvo v globálních výzvách současnosti ” by P JAC (Programme Johannes Amos Comenius).
Job description
- Work in an international interdisciplinary team
- practical execution of the Data Management Plan of a large-scale research project
- working with heterogeneous data (spatial data, graphical data, image data, photo/cinematic data)
- working in a developed institutional ICT infrastructure
What experience, knowledge and skills are important to us
- Undergraduate education in a relevant field
- knowledge of the principles, ethics and good practice of research data management at all stages of a research project
- readiness to support the professional members of the project team and to enhance their ICT competences
- a driving licence with. B is an advantage
We offer
- Employment on a part-time contract (0.5 FTE) for 1 year with the possibility of extension for a further 3 years
- workplace in the centre of Prague (Letenská Street), flexible working hours
