P JAC – call RESEARCH ENVIRONMENT

At the end of June, the Ministry of Education and Science announced a call within the framework of the Operational Programme Johannes Amos Comenius (P JAC) for capacity development of research organisations. P JAC thus responds to the demand for increasing the capacity of R&D management staff and the need to take into account new topics.

Call RESEARCH ENVIRONMENT (Výzva Č. 02_23_026 – VÝZKUMNÉ PROSTŘEDÍ)

The call contains eight mandatory optional activities, of which the applicant shall select at least one. In these “compulsory optional” activities, among several other activities aimed at the development of strategic management, there is also Activity 8. Strategic setting and development of open science at the research organisation. (The aim of this activity is the creation or updating and subsequent implementation of an open science strategy, i.e. open access to research data, results and scientific information in the research organisation.)

Eligible applicants may be entities meeting the definition of a research organisation, i.e. also institutes of the CAS as public research institutions.

Submission of the application for support is possible from the date of the announcement, i.e. from 24 June 2024 to 16 December 2024 by 2 pm in the IS KP21+ application.

Furthermore, a Seminar for applicants on Call Výzva 02_23_026 Research Environment is planned. It is expected to take place in the first half of September 2024.
