On April 1, 2026, from 14:30 to 16:00, a meeting will be held in Brno to present the results of the first national survey of research data management in the Czech Republic. The session will be conducted in Czech and will also be accessible online, with a recording and presentation provided afterwards.
The survey was carried out by the EOSC CZ initiative in cooperation with the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, with support from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. More than 1,000 principal investigators from a wide range of disciplines and institutions took part, offering a representative picture of current research data practices in the Czech Republic.
The programme will introduce both the survey methodology and its key findings. It will look at how research data are collected, managed and shared, as well as the needs researchers identify and the challenges they face in this area. These insights provide an important basis for the further development of the National Data Infrastructure.
There will also be time for questions and discussion.
