Registration – Open Science Fair 2025

The upcoming Open Science Fair 2025, organized by OPENAire in collaboration with CERN Open Science, will take place on 15 – 17 September in Geneva (CERN). This year’s theme is:

“Fusing Forces – Accelerating Open Science through Collaboration”

The conference will explore how different forms of collaboration can foster scientific discovery, improve knowledge accessibility, and support a transparent and fair research environment through Open Science.

Key Conference Themes:

  • AI and Policy: The role of artificial intelligence, equity, and inclusion in Open Science strategies.
  • Impact: Measuring and enhancing the societal, economic, and policy-related benefits of Open Science.
  • Security and Ethics: Balancing openness with research security, dual-use concerns, trust, and governance.
  • Infrastructure: Building and sustaining digital systems—repositories, metadata, federated and national platforms, with AI integration.
  • Research Assessment: Reforming evaluation models beyond impact factors, with a focus on collaboration, career development, and AI in peer review.
  • Skills and Community: Strengthening Open Science skills, AI literacy, and community engagement in research and education.

  • Early bird registration until 30 June 2025500 CHF (approx. 460 EUR)
  • Standard registration until 31 July 2025600 CHF (approx. 550 EUR)
