Prague EOSC CZ Networking

March 30, 2026

When: March 30, 2026, 9:30–18:00
Where: Czech University of Life Sciences Prague

How can researchers work effectively with their data, and which tools can make everyday research easier? These questions, among others, will be addressed at the Prague EOSC CZ Networking event, taking place on March 30, 2026, at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (ČZU).

The event aims to bring together experts from various Prague-based institutions, share experiences in research data management, and introduce practical tools and services that can support everyday research practices.

The morning program in the ČZU Aula includes a welcome speech by the Rector, a keynote presentation on the EOSC CZ initiative, and short “lightning talks” by representatives of Prague institutions, followed by a panel discussion. A networking lunch will also provide an opportunity to meet colleagues from other institutions.

The afternoon sessions, held in the ČZU Library, focus on practical workshops. Participants can explore services provided by e-INFRA CZ for research data management, learn to use the Data Stewardship Wizard to create or refine data management plans (DMP), work with the ORCID researcher identifier, or get an introduction to version control using Git and GitHub. Additional workshops cover sensitive data anonymization, reproducibility in research, and a gamified “RDM Escape Room.” The day concludes with optional networking at the ČZU campus restaurant.

The event will be conducted primarily in Czech. Simultaneous interpretation into English is available for the morning program, and one afternoon workshop will be held in English.

More information can be found here. Spaces are limited; registration is available here.
