OSTrails Interoperability Framework – FAIR-IF: A Unified Framework for Consistently FAIRifying Research Outputs
28. April; 11:00 - 12:00
The European OSTrails (Open Science Trails) project is hosting a series of three online webinars, which will introduce participants to the key components of the OSTrails Interoperability Framework initiative. The goal of this initiative is to develop a framework and guidelines to ensure interoperability at various stages of research and data management – from planning to monitoring and evaluation. The webinars will focus on ensuring and assessing the “fairness” of research data (FAIRifying Research Outputs), interoperability in data management planning (Data Management Planning), and harmonizing information sharing and semantic interoperability through scientific knowledge graphs (Scientific Knowledge Graphs).
This webinar will focus on how FAIR-IF helps standardize the tools used for assessing the “fairness” of research data. The aim is to make the choice of the assessment tool less important by integrating these tools into other systems, such as data management planning (DMP) authoring tools, so that users won’t be directly aware of using them.
Speaker: Mark Wilkinson, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid
Moderator: Tassos Stavropoulos, OpenAIRE
