The 3rd edition  of the interdiciplinary conference Humanities and Social Sciences from the Perspective of Digital Humanities will take place on 6–7 November 2025 at the Department of Czech Studies, Faculty of Arts, Palacký University Olomouc.

For this year’s edition, no overarching theme has been set, and the conference will, as in previous years, be based primarily on broad discussion concerning the various possibilities of using digital technologies in humanities and social science research or practice.

Among the possible, but by no means required, topics for contributions:

• (Not only) Literary cartography
• Curation and management of digital data, digital databases, digital archives – their strategies and interfaces
• Linguistic and literary corpora – concepts, forms, development, and data mining tools
• Digital editing
• Software development for DH research, digital tools
• DH in practice – educational programs and strategies, specific problems and case studies, student feedback
• Use of AI in DH research
• Topic modeling
• Sentiment analysis
• Stylometry
• DH and the analysis of narrative texts
• Poetry plotting
• Quantitative approaches in onomastics
• Theoretical reflections on new methods against the background of “traditional” disciplinary approaches
• DH in archaeology, history, art history, sociology, musicology, and other humanities and social science disciplines
• Own topic

Contributions can be in Czech, Slovak and English.
