The EOSC EDEN project is launching its webinar series thaht will share key results and insights from its work on advancing digital preservation strategies across Europe. The first seminar of the series What every Trustworthy Digital Archive should be doing: 30 Core Preservation Process Descriptions will take place on December 1, 2025. The Core Preservation Process (CPP), one of the project’s major achievements, will be presented during this webinar.

The Core Preservation Processes are specific actions that every Trustworthy Digital Archive should undertake to ensure long-term data archiving. CPP focuses on the most important general processes needed to preserve digital objects, regardless of specific content or discipline. They consist of a sequence of implementable steps that may be performed either automatically or manually.
