EOSC CZ Training Center is organizing a webinar called “Prepare your team for effective data management (plans)”.

Data management and data management planning (DMP) are now essential aspects of everyday research practice. As we move further into the era of Open Science (OS), it is increasingly important to adopt sustainable approaches to managing research data. This seminar will explore practical ways to strengthen team engagement and prepare for funder requirements such as data management plans. We will also discuss how fostering good data management practices can benefit managers, supervisors, and principal investigators (PIs) by creating efficient, transparent research environments that save both time and resources.

Participants will gain an understanding of how effective data management can enhance the efficiency and success of their projects and teams. They will also receive guidance on engaging their teams proactively, emphasizing the value of data management not merely for reporting purposes, but as a strategic tool that contributes to the overall quality and impact of research.
