Center for Open Science and Data Curation Network organise a webinar Transforming Research with Data Curation Practices dedicated to how data curation can boost the accessibility, impact, and integrity of research. The aim of the seminar is to show why data curation is essential for preservation and enhancing research outputs and how it can be applied to different data types.

The webinar is is designed for both researchers and research support staff, including librarians, data curators, and repository administrators. You can register here.

Data curation involves data discovery and management, maintains data quality and reusability by archiving, metadata creation and digital preservation. Data curators ensure data are shared ethically and in ways that are findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable (FAIR).

Center for Open Science (COS) is an non-profit organisation with the vision to enhance openess, integrity and reproducibility of scientific research. COS maintains  Open Science Framework (OSF), an open source tool enabling research teams to work and collaborate on projects and share their results.

Data Curation Network (DCN) is a membership organisation od institutional and nono-profit data repositories with the aim to support open research and enable researchers to publish research data according to FAIR principles.
