Agents of Change: Skills and strategies workshop for research data professionals

This two-day workshop for data stewards and research data professionals will focus on effective communication and explaining the importance of data management to stakeholders. Participants will learn how to clearly define and communicate their roles, analyze stakeholder network, evaluate the impact of planned changes, and apply stress management techniques and learn how to stay healthy and motivated.

Consulting Skills for research data professionals

Providing consultations is an important part of a data steward’s work. This workshop aims to help participants develop the consulting skills necessary to support researchers and other stakeholders in making informed decisions about data management. During the workshop, participants will learn how to give effective advice and feedback, understand stakeholder needs, communicate effectively, and collaboratively find practical solutions to complex problems.
