PathOS – Open Science webinar series

PathOS is a Horizon Europe project exploring the understanding of the impact of Open Science and its causative mechanisms. In addition, the Training Centre organises various expert-led trainings and workshops and provides resources to explore the various impacts of Open Science.

A series of webinars are planned for late February and March:

Measuring the Societal Impact of Open Science

  • When: 27 Feb 2025, 10:00 CET
  • Where: online, Zoom

The webinar will primarily address the key role of Open Science in benefiting society as a whole. It will also introduce you to insights from a case study on the use of French Open Science infrastructure. This explores how research data and knowledge crosses academic boundaries and influences the wider societal context.

Key Impact Pathways of Open Science

  • When: 11 March 2025, 11:00 CET
  • Where: online, Zoom

In this webinar, you will explore the pathways through which Open Science practices create impact. You will also learn about a case study that explores the role of the Portuguese Open Access Publishing Infrastructure (RCAAP) in fostering collaboration between academia and industry. Finally, there will be a discussion on future directions and policy implications for enhancing the impact of Open Science, followed by a lively Q&A session with the present speakers.
