Panel Discussion: The Future of Open Science in the Czech Republic (cze)

As part of Open Science Week 2025, a panel discussion titled “The Future of Open Science in the Czech Republic” will take place on Wednesday, November 12.

In 2025, the Technology Centre Prague, in cooperation with the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic and other actors in the research and innovation system, is preparing an extensive analysis of the open science environment. Its aim is to propose recommendations for the strategic development of open science, including the identification of priority areas for the coming years.

The panel discussion will present preliminary scenarios and proposed measures designed to contribute to the systematic development of open science in the Czech Republic. Representatives of key institutions and of the expert community will discuss these proposals.

  • Assoc. Prof. MUDr. Marián Hajdúch, Ph.D. (online participation), Member of the Research, Development and Innovation Council

The event is intended primarily for experts, research organization leadership, funding providers, and research and innovation policy makers.

Registration for in-person attendance is closed, but it will be possible to join the online stream without prior registration — the link will be available on the event website (only in Czech).
