The first in a series of EIFL webinars on using the free and open source Open Journal Systems (OJS) software for publishing scientific journals.

EIFL (Electronic Information for Libraries) is an international non-profit organization based in Vilnius, Lithuania, that works with libraries to enable access to knowledge in developing countries and countries with economies in transition. EIFL was founded in 1999 as an initiative of the Open Society Foundations.

In the webinar, Karl Magnus Nilsen and Dr. Aysa Ekanger will share their experiences managing the Norwegian platform Septentrio Academic Publishing. In addition, Dr. Vaso Manojlovic will present his experience with using OJS for individual journals and conference proceedings, and Friedrich Summann will talk about enabling the Open Access Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH) in OJS.
