New document templates in FAIR Wizard

We have published new document templates in FAIR Wizard, which define the format of the final exported document. The appearance of the resulting documents varies depending on the selected project template.

At this point, it should be possible to generate a suitable document from all available project templates. However, we recommend to ensuring in advance that the available “document template” for the selected project template suits your needs. If you have any requests or suggestions for further adjustments to the document templates, please contact us at dmp(at)knav.cz.

All available templates include questions defined by the requirements of Horizon Europe (also referred to by Czech funding bodies), so the choice mostly depends on the environment/approach to the topic that suits your personal preferences. The Czech Science Foundation (GAČR) does not have specific requirements for the final document format but defines appropriate question areas by referring to the Horizon Europe template.

Currently, the following project templates are available to users:

  • CAS Life Sciences DSW Template – Horizon Europe Filter
    This template is based on the Life Sciences DSW Knowledge Model. It uses closed questions developed within the Elixir project. This project template includes only the questions recommended for Horizon Europe projects. It includes FAIR metrics.
    For administrative questions, integration with the ASEP database is provided, including project authorities (retrieved from CEP and CORDIS) and author authorities (active in publishing within the last 5 years).
    Completed responses can be exported in graphical formats:
    • Horizon Europe DMP Template – CAS fork (an adjusted template for Horizon Europe with integration questions),
    • GACR document template – CAS fork (an adjusted template for GACR with integration questions),
    • Questionnaire Report (a simple export of the entire questionnaire, including metrics),
    • Questionnaire Report CAS Fork (a simplified export of the entire questionnaire without metrics, overviews, etc, with the logo of the Czech Academy of Sciences).
  • CAS Common DSW Template – Horizon Europe Filter
    This template is based on the Common DSW Knowledge Model – a set of general, non-discipline-specific questions. The questionnaire is built on closed questions developed within the Elixir project. This project template includes only the questions recommended for Horizon Europe projects. It includes FAIR metrics.
    For administrative questions, integration with the ASEP database is provided, including project authorities (retrieved from CEP and CORDIS) and author authorities (active in publishing within the last 5 years).

    • GACR document template – CAS fork (an adjusted template for GACR with integration questions),
    • Questionnaire Report (a simple export of the entire questionnaire, including metrics),
    • Questionnaire Report CAS Fork (a simplified export of the entire questionnaire without metrics, overviews, etc, with the logo of the Czech Academy of Sciences).
  • Šablona pro GAČR cz/eng – Horizon Europe DMP
    A bilingual (cz/eng) template tailored to the needs of GAČR projects. The questions are derived from the Horizon Europe template, translated into Czech by NTK. This is a simple template with open-ended questions. For administrative questions, integration with the ASEP database is provided, including project authorities (retrieved from CEP and CORDIS) and author authorities (active in publishing within the last 5 years). The selection of final document formats is limited. Responses can be exported in graphical formats:
    • Questionnaire Report (a simple export of the entire questionnaire, including metrics),
    • Questionnaire Report CAS Fork (a simplified export of the entire questionnaire without metrics, overviews, etc, with the logo of the Czech Academy of Sciences),
    • Questionnaire Report – CAS fork – for GAČR cz/eng – Horizon Europe DMP (a simplified export of the entire questionnaire adjusted specifically for this questionnaire).
  • AV ČR – SSH šablona – CSDA
    This template is specifically created for social sciences and humanities (SSH). It is based on the DMP template of the Czech Social Science Data Archive (CSDA), which is available for download on the CSDA website, as well as additional resources on this website, mainly Data Management During the Research Project. For administrative questions, integration with the ASEP database is provided, including project authorities (retrieved from CEP and CORDIS) and author authorities (active in publishing within the last 5 years). The selection of final document formats is limited. Responses can be exported in graphical formats:
    • Questionnaire Report (a simple export of the entire questionnaire, including metrics),
    • Questionnaire Report CAS Fork (a simplified export of the entire questionnaire without metrics, overviews, etc, with the logo of the Czech Academy of Sciences).
  • CAS template for SSH – CSDA
    This is an English translation of the AV ČR – SSH šablona – CSDA. For administrative questions, integration with the ASEP database is provided, including project authorities (retrieved from CEP and CORDIS) and author authorities (active in publishing within the last 5 years). The selection of final document formats is limited. Responses can be exported in graphical formats:
    • Questionnaire Report (a simple export of the entire questionnaire, including metrics),
    • Questionnaire Report CAS Fork (a simplified export of the entire questionnaire without metrics, overviews, etc, with the logo of the Czech Academy of Sciences).
