Save the date: GraspOS Final Conference

The final conference of the European project GraspOS will take place in Pisa, Italy, on November 12 – 13, 2025. The event is titled “Opening Research Assessment” and will explore how to reform research assessment systems to reflect the principles of Open Science. The GraspOS project (Grasping Open Science) focuses on developing open infrastructures for fair, inclusive, and transparent research assessment.

The conference will present the main results of the project and provide space for discussions on how to better recognise the diverse contributions of research – including those traditionally overlooked. Through keynote lectures and expert panels, the conference will focus on three central themes:

  • Open infrastructures for responsible research assessment
  • Transparency and inclusivity in assessment processes
  • Recognition of contributions to Open Science
