On 17 February, the EOSC CZ (European Open Science Cloud CZ) initiative will be presented at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in Prague.

The organizing Office of the CAS invites the representatives of the management of the CAS Institutes and their Data Stewards (also other relevant persons at the Institute in charge of the research data management agenda).

In the morning joint session, Professor Luděk Matyska and the EOSC Working Group Secretaries will present key trends and recommendations for data management and open science in ongoing projects, the available infrastructure of computing and data capacities, and the possibilities of linking CAS Institutes to the National Data Infrastructure (NDI). The services of the Library of the CAS in the area of research data management will also be briefly presented.

After the lunch break, EOSC CZ representatives will give special attention to the management of departments and Data Stewards. At these separate sessions, you will get information on available resources and training for advanced research data management, an overview of NDI tools and services for effective data management and sharing, and be able to start networking with other experts. The organisers would welcome you to share your experience of open science at your workplace at this event in the form of a short message for other participants.
