EOSC CZ organizes a workshop entitled: \u201cResearch on human subjects \u2013 legal and ethical aspects of handling sensitive data\u201d.<\/p>\n
Compliance with binding legislation and ethical standards is a prerequisite for conducting research involving human subjects. The workshop will focus in particular on the legal and ethical aspects of protecting the privacy of research participants, which are then reflected in the handling and possible future use of sensitive data. Practical examples from biomedical and sociological research will be used to show which aspects should be taken into account in the conception of a research project and what should ideally be included in the informed consent of research participants with regard to the long-term preservation and possible further use of research data.<\/p>\n
