Open Science III: Call Preview, Applicant Seminars and JAKNAJAK Online Discussion (cze)
On June 15, 2026, the Managing Authority of the Jan Amos Komenský Operational Programme (OP JAK) published a preview of Call No. 02_25_043 Open Science III. The preview is provided for information purposes only. Until the official launch of the call, planned for June 29, 2026, the call text and its annexes may still be amended or supplemented.
The Open Science III call continues OP JAK’s support for the implementation of Open Science principles in research organisations. It focuses primarily on developing human resources and competencies in research data management, supporting the implementation of FAIR principles, and integrating institutions into the National Data Infrastructure.
Each institution (one legal entity identification number, IČO) may submit one project proposal. A mandatory project activity is the creation of a FAIR dataset registered in the National Metadata Directory. Optional activities include the development or update of strategic documents for research data management, software development, and training and educational activities.
Submission of Project Proposals
Applications may be submitted from July 20, 2026, until March 31, 2027, 14:00 (CET), via the IS KP21+ system.
However, the call may close earlier if the total requested funding reaches 120% of the call allocation, although not before August 4, 2026, at 14:00 (CET).
Questions related to the call can be sent to os@msmt.gov.cz.
Detailed information about the call and related documents are available on the OP JAK website here.
