National EOSC CZ Conference
When: December 2–3, 2025
Where: Quality Hotel Ostrava City, Hornopolní 3313/42, 702 00 Ostrava
At the beginning of December, the National EOSC CZ Conference will take place in Ostrava, with the theme Long Live Research Data. The program will feature plenary sessions and panel discussions focusing on current challenges and opportunities in the management, sharing, and reuse of research data. Participants can look forward to lectures by leading experts, interactive workshops, and hands-on training that will connect theory with practice and help transfer new insights directly into everyday work with data.
The conference will be held in English.
On the first day, three thematic blocks will address the development of data skills, data management tools, and stories of (re)using data. On the second day, practical workshops will take place in two parallel blocks, focusing on repository building and working with data.
Poster session
Part of the first day will be a competitive poster session, aimed both at students and early-career researchers with ambitious ideas, as well as experienced scientists who wish to share their expertise in research data management and reuse. Posters can be submitted in the following three categories:
1. Use case of secondary use of research data
2. Own FAIR research data
3. Use case of developing / using / promoting National Data Infrastructure (NDI) tools and services
